With large private and public development centres, both in the applications field and in the design of new handsets and infrastructure components, the Region is one of Europe’s most important clusters of wireless research and development.

The Øresund Region’s companies and institutions carry out research in most of the technologies that are driving the wireless revolution around the world. Their efforts not only aim at getting the best from the current wireless technologies that are making the 3rd generation but also at shaping the future generations of wireless devices, applications and networks.
