Kristianstad University

Kristianstad University, founded in 1977, is one of the newest Swedish universities. The university has approximately 6,000 students of which 2,500 are fulltime students. There are approximately 250 teachers, of which more than 25% has a doctor degree. Administrative and technical staff total approximately 100 persons.

Kristianstad University main campus is situated just outside Kristianstad town centre, in the Northeast of Skåne Region. Programmes and courses are offered in engineering, human, social, natural, behavioural and health sciences, besides business administration. The university has three major tasks to fulfil: to provide undergraduate education, stimulate research and development and co-operate with the local community.
