Danish-Swedish Internet payment merger
DIBS, the leading Danish company within Internet payment has acquired the Swedish iDeb, which provides paying services to local and international customers. |

The merger has a clear target – to create Scandinavia’s leading
provider of Internet payment systems. Jon Wichmann Hansen, CEO at
DIBS, says that the company’s customers will soon benefit
from the merger with offering of new products and services.
The value of the operation has not been disclosed but it
has been revealed that the payment occurred through cash and DIBS’
shares.
DIBS, based in Copenhagen, has achieved an undisputed market
leadership in the Danish market and has more 1,200 customers in 12
countries. iDeb, which has been profitable since its start, in
2001, is headquatered in Gothenburg.
