The German industrial automation company Phoenix Contact has
chosen connectBlue as a strategic partner for implementing
Bluetooth and other wireless technologies in their industrial
automation products and applications. With a worldwide presence,
Phoenix Contact is a leading player within electronic interface and
industrial automation technology.
For some time, the two companies have been collaborating on a
number of projects to integrate Bluetooth communication in
industrial interface and automation products. One of the current
projects is to develop a real-time communication solution for
wireless, Bluetooth-based transmissions of control signals within
automation systems. This will simplify the integration of moving
and rotating machine parts into automation networks significantly
and reduce wear and tear.
