Lund-based QlikTech is already present in the Danish market, with customers such as IDG Danmark, but the company has concluded that a physical presence is necessary to increase sales, informs the electronic news service Rapidus.

QlikTech provides easy-to-use software for interactive data analysis, enabling companies and their management to effectively and proactively monitor, manage and optimise their business.

Today with offices in the US, Spain and Germany, QlikTech was founded in 1993 as a consulting agency. One of its first assignments was the development of a tool for analysing multi-dimensional data. At the very moment that the consulting assignment was solved, it struck the founders that this was also the solution to a general problem that many companies had, and still have, which to the development of AQL™ (Associative Query Logic) a method that makes it possible to load and combine data from several databases.
