The order is significant but is lower than SwitchCore's previous estimate of the company's business with Huawei-3Com for 2004. As a result, SwitchCore estimates that SwitchCore`s growth for 2004 will be on a par with the market as a whole, i.e. around 15-20% for the year.

"With the exception of Huawei-3Com, we have seen positive sales trends for other customers during the year and we believe that China will continue to be a very attractive market for us in the future," says Henric Isacsson, SwitchCore's CEO.
