The agreement also covers reinforcement of PhD programmes, co-operation on supervision of MSc theses, and support to the Entrepreneurship Academy.

The agreement is an extension of an existing relationship started in 2001 concerning research in future Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

“Our relationship with Microsoft has given research at the IT University an important lift and the extended co-operation opens up new possibilities,” says Head of Research Jørgen Staunstrup, IT University of Copenhagen.

“The results of the first years’ relationship with the IT University have been positive and contributed to strengthening the development activities of Microsoft in Vedbæk, Denmark,” says Niels Bo Theilgaard, Development Manager from Microsoft Business Solutions.
