TAT was contracted by Gizmondo Europe in order to develop an aesthetically appealing, yet user friendly, user interface for the Gizmondo handheld. The user interface was regarded as having a pivotal role in developing a uniform visual profile for the device.

"We're extremely pleased with the user interface TAT have produced for us. Their response to a highly demanding marketing team has been first class," said Steve Carroll, Chief Technical Officer at Gizmondo Europe. He continued: "All the comments in relation to the UI have been very positive, especially from retail."

When Gizmondo Europe launched Gizmondo some weeks ago, it set new standards for mobile gaming. Being a 100 percent subsidiary of Tiger Telematics Inc., the relatively small company challenges much bigger players with a product that by many is regarded as a threat to the devices already available.

Featuring the latest in gaming and a range of entertainment and communications features, Gizmondo is now available for pre-order in the United Kingdom and will be launched in North America and the rest of Europe during the first quarter of 2005.
