The service is called MobilTankning and its functioning is quite simple. When arriving at a petrol station, customers have to call a number to identify themselves and to provide the ID number of the pump they are going to use. The service subsequently informs that the pump is ready for use.

The next step is the same as in any ordinary automatic petrol station. The driver leaves the car and sets the tank pistol in the car’s petrol cap. Later on, a receipt is sent to the email of the customer, who also can control her/his spending through the Internet.
