21% growth for Skåne’s consultancy market A survey shows a significant growth in the number of people employed in Southern Sweden’s IT, telecom and technological consultancy companies.

According to the survey, carried out by the Øresund Region’s news service Rapidus, the total working force in these companies increased with 523 new employees in 2004, which represents a 21% growth compared to 2003.
Rapids interviewed 18 companies and found out that most of the new employees were engaged in the second half of the year, which indicates that the recruitment wave has not ended yet.
The assumption was supported by 17 of the companies interviewed, which revealed plans of continuing to hire new personnel in 2005.
