In the Netherlands, Zepto will try to repeat the formula that has already proven successful and Denmark and Sweden: to sell high-quality laptops at reasonable prices. The company’s sales are entirely based on the web, where customers can choose which features and equipment their laptop will have.

The company buys hardware components from international manufacturers and assemble them in its factory in Frederikssund, Greater Copenhagen. In Zepto’s business model, a laptop is assembled only after a customer has ordered it.

Besides the Dutch site, Zepto is also developing a global website that will serve European customers before local sites are developed in each country.
