Know IT expands in the Øresund region The Swedish IT-company Know IT expands its pursuits in the Øresund region by acquiring Create Group in Lund. Know IT now has complete geographical coverage of Sweden.

- We are completing our strategy of being a national actor in Sweden within regions that have interesting buyers of consultancy services. With Create Group we will complement our clientele and become a major supplier to AstraZeneca, among others, says Anders Nilsson, director for the Know IT group to the newsletter Rapidus.
Know IT will pay for Create Group with one million of the company’s shares, equivalent of approximately 36.5 million Swedish crowns to date. The transaction will take place the 1st of October as long as both parties fulfil the previous conditions concerning the companies’ financial results.
Create group was the result of the merger between Create and Multicom in October of 2004. The company then stated that they had plans to expand geographically in Sweden and that they were to increase their staff to around a hundred by the end of 2004. Create Groups customers are among others Nokia, Teleca, ABB, Gambro and Ericsson.
