Customised laboratory opens doors for advanced nano research Lunds Institute of Technology is currently building a new high-tech laboratory, specially constructed for advanced nano-technological research.
(Micro & Nano)
The lab expansion enables unique possibilities of characterising materials on an atom level. The lab will also host development of nano structures and, in the future, new materials for biological and electronic use.
The new lab meets all the strict requirements that research within the nano technology field has. Isolation against vibration, temperature control and extreme cleanness are a few of the features that have been implemented.
The new building will be located next to the Berzelius laboratory in Lund and is funded through an investment by Akademiska Hus and the Nanometer Structure Consortium.
