Two Øresund companies nominated for most innovative IT product Two Danish security companies on the nominees list for the European IST Prize.
IT companies RFID Sec and Zonith from Copenhagen are both nominated to the prestigious European Information Society Technologies Prize.

The two nominated companies both work with security. Zonith specialises in alarm solutions for private companies and public institutions while RFID Sec works with storing information in RFID-tags (Radio Frequency IDentification) without compromising privacy or security.
The European IST Prize is an award that honours IT innovation. The criterion is that the company must have a new idea with a competitive solution for future products on the IT market. On an average, a company that receives the European IST Prize creates 25 new jobs per year.
Last year’s Grand Prize Winners were Swedish Cypak and the two French companies Let It Wave and Praxim Medivision.
