Based on leading-edge imagine processing techniques the application converts a portrait photo, taken with a camera phone, from an ordinary snap-shot  to a painting in the style of Botticelli, Picasso, Rembrandt or another great painter.

Painter is a part of a new line of mobile entertainment applications from Softhouse introduced at 3GSM in Barcelona. The product line comprises of six new applications enabling end-users to create fun and entertaining images of portrait photos taken with their camera phone. The applications are mainly developed for cross media promotion in TV shows and print media.
