“We consider this a strategically important alliance. With a nanoconsortium, we will become a strong and important actor in the Nordic countries and in Europe,” says vice-chancellor Ralf Hemmingsen at KU.
The two research centers, Nano-Science Center at KU and Nano•DTU, will form the new consortium. 200 scientists and researchers from the two universities will be part of the consortium aiming at technical advances and joint education.
“This collaboration will gather knowledge and competences from two ambitious and skilled universities. This way, both KU and DTU will be strengthened and Denmark stands stronger in the global competition on knowledge,” says vice-chancellor Lars Pallesen at DTU.
