Strike 4 Hitman
Øresund based IO Interactive strikes again. New Hitman game launched late May became the best selling game on the English market after one week.

The new game, Blood Money, is the most sold game across platforms, i.e. PC, PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360, on the English market reports Computer World.

Blood Money is the fourth Hitman game produced by Danish IO Interactive (IOI). Compared to previous games, graphics have been significantly improved.

It took 2 years, 80 Million DDK and 100 programmers to develop Blood Money, writes ErhvervsBladet. IOI has invested time and money in getting the most out of each platform instead of making one generic version for all.

To ensure the best experience, the game has been thoroughly tested. “We have tested the game over and over again to make sure that it runs without problems. As a developer, it is a good feeling to see the game continuously improving. That motivates making more Hitman games in the future,” says IOI´s Managing Director Janos Flösser to ErhvervsBladet.

IOI was established in September 1998 as a joint venture between Nordisk Film & TV and the game developer Reto-Moto. Today, IOI is a part of the Eidos group, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software.
