DanaWeb chooses Malmö for its Swedish subsidiary Crossing the Øresund Bridge and setting up business in Skåne is a smart way to the Swedish market.
(Business)
Danish DanaWeb has taken its first step toward an expansion on the Swedish market by setting up a subsidiary in Malmö. The web-company is managed by CEO Henrik Hjelmgaard, a Dane who now has joined the ranks of Øresund commuters. So far, eight persons are employed, reports news service Rapidus.
The goal for the expansion is not only to take market shares in Malmö. As Mr. Hjelmgaard explains, they intend to work on all of the Swedish market.
DanaWeb, founded 2003, develops and hosts websites and markets its own Content Management System. The company has 150 employees and its headquarters are in Herlev, outside Copenhagen.
