IVS and BankInvest IT Venture to merge Under the name of NorthCap Partners, IVS and BankInvest will be launching a new Danish venture company within IT and telecommunications with a capital base of DKK 1 billion.

NorthCap Partners will be established as of 1 April 2007 and is backed up by LD, Vaekstfonden and PFA. The strong industrial expertise built up by IVS will now be combined with the financial expertise and infrastructure of the BankInvest Group.
Lars Bruhn, Chairman of the Board of IVS A/S, says, "The merger of BankInvest and IVS creates a new strong basis for investments in technology companies. I am convinced that we have created a unit with a deal flow, competencies and a network platform that will be attractive to both Danish and foreign investors."
IVS A/S is a Danish venture company founded in 1999 by a team of experienced professionals with a strong track record of developing technology businesses in the IT field.
