The six year old and fast growing supplier of CMS systems, Sitecore, is reaping the benefits of its initiative on the American market.
The company recently won its first business with one of the USA’s Fortune 500 companies, Sarah Lee. The targeted USA drive resounds among the analyst firms, writes Børsen.
In its latest report, the trend-setting and independent analyst firm CMS Watch, has named Danish Sitecore to be among the five leading suppliers on the world market for medium-sized companies in the USA.
When it comes to future orders for the largest customers, Sitecore is prepared to compete with main systems from Vignette, EMC’s Documentum and IBM’s Websphere.
Employees in the three American sales offices have brought in 100 customers for the company in only two years.
Sitecore’s technology is optimised to be interoperable with Microsoft’s systems. This means that if Sitecore can make Microsoft’s hundred thousand partners interested in selling its CMS system when selling to their end customers, the potential will be enormous.
The company has headquarters in Copenhagen in the Øresund region.
