DTU in front in global Nokia venture
Nokia is giving the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) 50 percent of the Internet Tablets that the Finnish mobile giant has decided to donate to research institutions worldwide.
(R&D)

DTU will get 100 Internet Tablets to promote research within mobility, meaning the university will receive half of the 200 tablets Nokia has decided to donate, writes Version2.

“We are very pleased, this shows that Nokia considers DTU an interesting research facility to collaborate with”, says Professor Knud Erik Skouby at the IMM-center at DTU.

The mobile terminals are optimized for the development of IP-based mobile services. Now the students will have the opportunity to develop and test their own mobile technology applications without having to use a real phone since the tablets simulates a mobile phone.
