Instadia sold to foreign company
Yet another Danish IT company has been sold to an international company. Mid-January negotiations between Instadia and American Omniture were in place.
(Business)

Since 2000 Instadia has built a business, developing and selling web analysis tools. The company employs 30 people and has its head office in Copenhagen, writes epn.dk.

Omniture is quoted at Nasdaq in New York and is a global market leader within web analysis. Through the acquisition of Instadia it has now strengthened its position in Europe.

Instadia was founded in 2000 and two years later the venture company IVS A/S joined as an investor. Since then the company has established offices in Sweden, Germany and Great Britain. The customer base is 200 and Instadia is one of the market leaders in Europe within web analysis.

The price for the acquisition was not announced. However, Instadia has been an attractive investment for both for the company’s founder, Anders Frejo Jørgensen, and for the venture company NorthCap Partners – a merger of the ICT venture activities and BankInvest.
