Listed Sigma will purchase 25% of ZenIT Consult . The two companies will continue separately with a close collaboration and a joint subsidiary in Sweden, writes Version2.dk.
Sigma’s offerings in both Sweden and Denmark are mainly within functional IT support, business systems, business intelligence and product development, but it has lacked to customers in the financial sector, which is the expertise that ZenIT provides.
The new partnership will enable the companies to service the larger customers in all of Scandinavia, expects Bjarne Thorsen, director at ZenIT.
The forthcoming subsidiary makes it easier to use the two companies’ consultants on either side of the Sound, an advantage in the current growth situation of the IT-industry.
”At the moment, it isn’t difficult to sell IT-consultants, but it is difficult to find the right consultant. The new collaboration will make it easier to have people in Sweden working on assignments for Danish customer, when necessary,” says Bjarne Thorsen.
