IT-company Speakanet has 12.000 subscribers to a service that makes fixed phones and switchboards obsolete by connecting mobile phones via a web based software solution, reports newspaper Børsen.
“Businesses do not have to invest in switchboards, which often costs DKK 5-10 000 per employee,” says Arne Winther, CEO Speakanet, to Børsen.
Speakanet launched web-based access to its mobile solution at 3GSM in Barcelona last week.
Founded in 2001, the company is head quartered in Copenhagen, in the Øresund region. Its solution, GoHello Mobile Switchboard, has been deployed across a number of markets including Banking, IT, Media and Architects. Clients include Ementor, Nyhedsavisen and the Danish Government.
