The IT consultancy company Acando focuses on developing its new Danish subsidiary into a division with more than one hundred employees. To begin with all Danish business is handled out of Malmö, writes the news service Rapidus.

Until a suitable address has been found in Copenhagen, employees will be placed in Acando’s new office in Malmö at the Hjälmarekajen. The objective is to engage 20-30 persons in Copenhagen within the next twelve months, so far the Danish division consists of only a handful of persons.

Skat, Nordea and Vattenfall are some of Acandos current Danish customers. The manager of the Danish subsidiary project is Anders Engdal.

”The idea is to grow to at least one hundred employees in Copenhagen. The Danish company has started to service customers through our employees in Malmö. We are increasing the recruiting pace in Skåne to assist Denmark. It is only a matter of time before the new Danish management will have its first agreement in place,” says  Malmö manager Christian Jönsson to Rapidus.
