Prevas strengthens its position as major player within embedded systems on the Danish market, with yet another acquisition.
The operations will be merged with Prevas´ current operations in Denmark to form a subsidiary with 70 employees and a turnover of MDKK 60. The acquisition will provide the company with a high level of specialist expertise and well-established customer relations, as well as a solid contact network with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Copenhagen.
” The proximity to a research environment is a guarantee for our capacity to develop innovative solutions based on the newest technology trends. We are already collaborating with several other universities, and via Kasmatic Innovations these relations will be further strengthened,” says Michael Carl, CEO at Prevas A/S.
Kasmatic develops customized electronics and software and works as a catalyst for transferring new technologies from the university and research world to the company´s customers. It is located at Scion-DTU and has a long-term working relationship with DTU for the latest competencies and new technologies.
Prevas develops intelligence in products and industrial systems and has delivered profitable solutions for the future for over 20 years. The company is currently established in Sweden and Denmark, but intends to establish its own offices and development centers in Norway and Finland.
